For students
- I cannot see my exam.
- Check you signed in with the email address your school added. An exam appears once it is published and you are on its candidate list; ask your teacher if it is missing.
- It says “That access code is not right.”
- The code is read out in the room. Check it with your invigilator; capital letters do not matter.
- My connection dropped, or my device died.
- Your answers were saved on the device as you went. Open the exam again, on any device, and carry on. The clock does not stop while you are away.
- I cannot press Submit.
- Some exams only let you hand in near the end. The answer sheet says when submitting opens.
- I cannot see my marks.
- Your teacher may not have released them yet, or the exam does not show marks. The result page says which.
- I do not have a password.
- Use Continue with Google with your school email, or press Forgotten your password? on the sign-in page to set one.
For teachers and administrators
- I need to change a published exam.
- If nobody has started it, Unpublish exam on the Settings tab makes it a draft again. Once someone has started, cancel it and build a new one.
- A student needs more time.
- Before the exam, give them their own time on the Candidates tab. During it, use Add time in the live room.
- An answer key was wrong.
- Correct the question, then use Re-grade every attempt on the Result tab, or change single marks on an attempt’s answer sheet.
- The exam opened at the wrong time.
- Check the exam’s Time zone under When it runs. Every time on that card is read in that zone.
- Publishing is refused.
- The message says why: usually a set with no questions, sets that do not match in count or marks, or a rule that asks for more questions than there are.
- A walk-in lost their entry card.
- On the Candidates tab, use the New password and entry card button beside their name.
- I cannot delete a class.
- A class with students or an exam cannot be deleted. Move its students to another class first.
- The AI review will not let me add the questions.
- Some questions still need an answer. Give them one with Edit, use Ask the AI again, or Drop them.
